K.C. Tseng has experience in operating commercial legal affairs. The main areas of his practice include capital market, M&A, investment application, corporate governance and compliance, legal document review, company registration, and competition cases.
Prior to his career as a lawyer, K.C. Tseng served as a research and teaching assistant in NTU Law school and as a project writer and editor for legal publications as well as an intern in the financial industry, which made him familiar with both industrial and legal practice development.
After joining Chen & Lin, he has assisted a domestic bank in suing an international investment bank group and in litigation related to a dispute over patent license agreement. In addition, he has participated in M&A due diligence, applications for cross-border investment, an merger filing to competition authority, and capital market cases such as outbound and inbound IPO, acquisition and disposal of assets by listing companies, research on public tender offer and reverse takeover, etc. By handling diversified business legal affairs, he gains experiences in communicating with competent authorities and is competent to conduct in-depth analysis.
