Profile

Doris Y.T. Lu joined Chen & Lin in September 2008. Her specialized legal areas include securities, capital market, corporate compliance, M&A, investment and anti-trust. Doris is experienced in overseas and domestic IPO and fund raising, cross-border and domestic M&A transactions with wide variety from merger, share swap, stock purchase to asset and business acquisition, joint venture, inbound and outbound investment transaction and application and banking and financing.

In addition to project-type transaction, Doris also has extensive experiences in commercial and operation agreements and general corporate service. Doris serves clients with a wide range of industries, including semiconductor equipment, semiconductor, IC design, electronic manufacturing, food, retailer, bank, entertainment, cable TV, online games, e-commerce, life science, clean energy and financial service etc. Except for working from the perspective of an outside legal expert, Doris also could understand the wants and needs from the perspective of insider. Doris ever worked at a multinational pharmaceutical group’s Taiwan subsidiary to provide secondment service. She also ever left the firm and worked as the senior legal counsel at a worldwide chain retailer’s Taiwan subsidiary and has substantial experience at the retailer business model and all issue bumping up in the daily operation of retailer. She also had experience in cooperating with bank for card service project and advising data protection and cybersecurity in respect of bank card management.
