Profile

Meng-Ying Lee handles a broad range of matters, covering litigations and transactional legal work. In addition to general civil and criminal litigations, she also provides services of legal consultation and contract review in both English and Chinese, serving both local and international clients in different fields of area, including consumer litigation, personal data protection, labor disputes and employee stock ownership trust.

Being competent to deal with English requests from clients in a timely manner, Meng-Ying handles foreign company litigation in Taiwan and is experienced in transnational cases. She helped clients solve disputes to their protect rights and interests. Clients Meng-Ying served included a leading domestic food company, an international air conditioner manufacturer and a well-known elevator company.  She also advises on local legal compliance to businesses including a world-famous social network company and a foreign pharmaceutical company.  Furthermore, she has provided legal opinions regarding processing and use of personal data to several domestic and foreign listed companies and a cosmetics manufacturer.

Meng-Ying pursued her studies in Columbia Law School, majoring in cooperate law, securities regulations, global financial regulations, and law and responsibility for internet platforms. After obtaining her second master degree from the Columbia Law School, in the same year, Meng-Ying passed the New York State bar examination. She also worked as a trainee lawyer at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP and this experience has fostered her deep appreciation for the interplay of law on a global scale.
